Project Objective

To increase the employability of young adults with SEN

To enhance the competency of parents/carers in supporting their adult children with SEN along the career exploration journey

To improve the reliability and validity of assessment tools as well as the effectiveness of intervention protocols on inclusive employment

To co-create a sustainable ecosystem of inclusive employment

Service Target

    Young adults aged 15 or above with high-functioning autism (HFA), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or specific learning difficulties (SpLD), and with normal or above intellectual functioning (IQ score 70 or above)

Our Key Tasks

To develop a vocational support model specific to the needs of young adults with SEN in Hong Kong

To strengthen existing partnerships with corporates and tertiary institutions, and expand further networks

To engage parents/carers in the inclusive employment of young adults with SEN

To develop evidence-based assessment and intervention protocols on inclusive employment in collaboration with the University of Hong Kong (HKU) and other NGO partners
